Over the course of a few months, KBH explored the needs of women in business and female business owners with the aim of better understanding what specific frustrations and challenges these women face in their business, and personal lives, day-to-day. We conducted a series of focus groups with women in a wide range of industries, from tech. to accounting, to fashion & beauty. These women were brave and opened up regarding their trials and tribulations, issues they’ve had with funding, balancing their work lives and personal lives, and how they were able to manage it all. Along with the focus groups, we distributed a survey where participants were able to anonymously fill in rather probing questions. Thanks to all of their participation, and willingness to open up, we were able to find out what women (in business) really want: trusted advisors that work with them openly and honestly!
